Sue Elias entered this world in Kuwait as the eldest among eight siblings. As the Gulf war upheaved their lives, she, along with her husband and seven-month-old son, sought refuge and left Kuwait. Over the course of a decade, they resided in Jordan, where she gave birth to her second son. Eventually, they made their way to Canada, where Sue embarked on a career as a teacher assistant, focusing on children with special needs within the educational system.

Throughout her journey, Sue’s creative spirit shone brightly. She ingeniously crafted plays and wove imaginative tales to captivate and delight her siblings. Her fondness for reading encompassed a wide array of genres, including fairytales, timeless classics, and beautifully illustrated children’s books.
